2ND ANNUAL LIGHTED TRACTOR PARADE IN CENTRALIA WASHINGTON

The 2nd Annual Lighted Tractor Parade in Downtown Centralia, Washington
The Lighted Tractor Parade, sponsored by the Centralia Downtown Association will once again fill the streets of downtown Centralia with vintage and modern tractors, antique trucks, logging trucks and construction equipment, all bedecked with dazzling lights. The parade will roll down Centralia's scenic Tower and Main streets to celebrate the season and the city's agricultural heritage in a uniquely fun way.

At 6 p.m. the lighted tractor parade will be underway, heading east on Main Street turning onto Pearl then left onto Locust and onto Tower Avenue where it will proceed up to Maple Street. Parts of Main, Pearl and Tower Avenue will be closed off during the parade.

After the parade, people will be able to walk around for a close-up viewing of the tractors, which will be decked out in Christmas lights at the large parking lot behind Destiny Christian Center and the parking lot behind Sterling Savings.
Parade entries will be accepted though 6 p.m. Friday, before the parade Saturday. Entry forms can be downloaded from the CDA’s Facebook page, also available at Book Quest, Paige's Antique Dolls & Toys, Santa Lucia, Sterling Savings Bank and Centralia Deli.

Spokesperson for the CDA, Jeff Miller, who is helping to organize this years event commented, “We hope this popular event will continue to grow each year to bring new visitors to the area as a Holiday tradition. This type of heritage event is being organized in other cities across the country as well. Our agricultural and logging history is a part of our community, one that we want to celebrate and this is a great way to share it.”
