6th Annual Mint Dessert Contest - 2009 Chehalis Crazy Dayz

Register as a contestant at Smith's Mercantile no later than 4:00 pm July 31, 2009. Mint Desserts must be delivered to Smith's Mercantile between 11:00 am and Noon August 1, 2009. If your dessert requires refrigeration, please be sure to bring it in a cooler with ice. Desserts will be served in the order of entry in the contest. Mint Desserts must serve a minimum of six and must be individually plated for presentation to the judges. Mint Desserts will be judged as follows: Creative use of mint in the recipe (max 2 points), Presentation (max 3 points), Taste (max 5 points) Contestants must submit a hand printed or typed recipe of the Mint Dessert which will accompany the Mint Dessert at the judging table. Tasting will begin at 12:30 pm August 1, 2009. Mint Desserts will be tasted and judged by distinguished members of our community. Winners of the 2009 Mint Dessert Contest will be announced at the conclusion of the tasting/judging.
