American Civil War 150th Anniversary

Come to the Veterans Memorial Museum for an all day event centered on the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War. For the next four years the Museum will host special events centered around the events that shaped our nation. This first event is focused on the Firing of Fort Sumter in April of 1861. The museum will have guest expert speakers, living history displays, a delicious lunch from foods of the 1860's, the Museum's main gallery and so much more.
