ARTIST RECEPTION TO INTRODUCE ANATHA ATTAR
Anatha 's colorful paintings express a magical realism and a dreamlike quality that capture the sacred in art and life. Attar, a trained iconographer in the Christian tradition, Attar also uses this specialized technique to paint Buddhist icons, sacred images from the traditions of Thailand and Bali and autobiographical images from her own life.
