Free Concert: Centralia College Jazz Bands

The Music Department is closing out the school year with a Jazz concert to benefit the Lewis County Food Bank.
There will be three jazz ensembles:
• The Dixieland Jazz Band will be performing Basin Street Blues, The Darktown Strutter’s Ball, When the Saints Go Marching In, and other numbers.
• The Centralia College Jazz Combo is David Hoogkamer (alto sax), Samantha Lane (tenor sax), Nick Vanderveldt (guitar), Johnny Toulouse (bass), Scotty Leach (piano), and Batuhan Korman (drums). Three tunes that they will be performing are Autumn Leaves, Misty and Take 5.
• The Centralia College Jazz Band will include Caravan, Soul Sacrifice, and Moanin’ in their part of the concert.
