FREE CONCERT! Lewis County Community Band

The Lewis County Community Band will be performing at Corbet Theatre, Centralia College, at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 29th. Admission is free.

“Features” will showcase soloists and small ensembles from within the band. “At a Dixieland Jazz Funeral” will feature Ryan Brumbaugh (clarinet), Enoch Newkirk (trumpet), Jerry Mollerstuen (trombone), Jeff Grimm (tuba), and Johnny Toulouse (drums). Works with soloists are: “Latinata” (David Hoogkamer, alto saxophone), “Clarinet on the Town” (Selah Newkirk, clarinet), and “Prayer of St. Gregory” (Enoch Newkirk, trumpet). The band is also planning to play “Of Sailors and Whales” by W. Francis McBeth.
