Come join us for a free orchestral concert designed to please the entire family with seasonal favorites, including an audience sing along of holiday songs. Our Instrument Petting Zoo will be open in the Corbet Theatre foyer during intermission. Music 6000 of Olympia is supplying instruments for our young audience members to try out and our orchestra members will assist at the various stations. The program will include: Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, first movement by W.A. Mozart, Selections from the ?Nutcracker Ballet? by P.I. Tschaikowsky, Away in a Manger featuring guitar and flute, March of the Toys from ?Babes in Toyland?, Holiday Favorites, an audience sing along, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
The orchestra is composed of 36 musicians from Thurston and Lewis counties, ranging in age from high school students to senior citizens. David Judd is conducting the Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra this season.
We appreciate the support of our sponsors and donors which allow us to offer performances, such as this one, free of charge and open to the public.
