This annual celebration produced by the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce since 1961 dates back to the first "Yamhill County Turkey Fair" held in 1938. Yamhill County had become Oregon's largest turkey producer and the fair was developed as a forum for local growers to share feeding and breeding techniques. The event evolved into the “Pacific Coast Turkey Exhibit” and then became Turkey Rama when the Chamber joined in 1961.
Music & entertainment: Second Winds Community Band, Mike Fite (acoustic guitar), McMinnville Martial Arts Demonstration, and The Flipside (classic rock band).
Contests: The biggest turkey contest.
Also enjoy the Funtastic Carnival & games and the annual Turkey Trot.
