Come hear the Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra and bring your children. We will perform Saint-Saens' delightful parody, ?Carnival of the Animals?, turning the instruments of the orchestra into a menagerie of whimsical zoo animals: lions, tortoises, elephants, fish in an aquarium, the swan, and others. Narrator Zachary Pierson, age seven, will be back with his amazing pronunciations of Ogden Nash?s poetic and hilarious animal descriptions. A wonderful new feature of this concert is our Instrument Petting Zoo in the Corbet Theatre foyer during intermission. Music 6000 of Olympia is supplying instruments for our young audience members to try out and our orchestra members will assist at the various stations. The program will be: ?Carnival of the Animals? by Camille Saint-Saens ?The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe? by Harry Gregson-Williams and Steve Barton ?John Williams: Soundtrack Highlights? ?A Ralph Vaughan Williams Christmas?
