Teams from Lewis County fundraise all year long and then gather together at the north end of the fairgrounds for a 24 hour walk for the fight against cancer! This year we have entertainment for the entire family around the clock!
The walk starts at 4pm, Opening Celebration Ceremony is at 6pm, followed by the moving Survivor Ceremony that offically begins our Relay! Luminaria takes place at 11pm, when you can be thankful for the surviviors, remember the ones that have lost thier fight and encourage the warriors still fighting!
NEW THIS YEAR TO LEWIS COUNTY IS....The Fight Back Ceremony! We are Raising Hope with Chinese Floating Lanterns! At 5am Sat morning we are releasing 250 chinese floating lanterns into the the dark of the night, to give hope and encouragement to cancer patients that continue to fight back against cancer each day and night. The Chinese Floating Lanterns can be personalized with your hope for a cure and are available for purchase for $5.00 at re:Design in downtown Chehalis.
