Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Express Pro’s
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Since 1983, Express Personnel has been providing unparalleled staffing services across a variety of industries. However, even the most tried-and-true operations need a change of pace every now and again. As the company marks its 25th anniversary, Express Personnel Services has changed its name to Express Employment Professionals to refocus its branding efforts in order to better reflect its service lines and direction for the future.

The new name allows all Express staffing services, along with its human resources and payroll services, to fit under the Express Employment Professionals umbrella. This eliminates the need for additional service line names and logos.

"I’m excited about our new name and branding strategy," said David Gibson. "This is a positive change that demonstrates our commitment to providing our clients and associates with full-service employment solutions."

In addition to a new name, Express also has a new owner. David Gibson, purchased the business from Carmen and John Hummel effective March 31st. David started working with Express eight years ago in the Centralia office and has held several positions with Express, the most recent being Region Representative for Washington.

"It is simply amazing to be able to start in a company in your home town, and be able to grow with the company to the point of being able to purchase that company, is very humbling," David said.

Along with the name change and new ownership, Express also has a new logo and web address – www.expresspros.com.

The Centralia Express Employment Professionals franchise began operation in 1991 and services the Lewis County area with temporary and full-time employees in a variety of fields including office services, industrial, data processing, technical and marketing.

The Centralia office, located at 1126 S. Gold St., Centralia is currently taking applications. Businesses seeking employees may stop by the office, call 360-330-9050, or visit the Express Web site.

Worldwide, Express Employment Professionals employs 350,000 people each year, with more than 600 offices in four countries. Sales for the Oklahoma City-based company totaled nearly $2 billion in 2007. Express provides expertise in evaluation and direct hire, temporary staffing, executive recruiting and human resources.
