Ryderwood Fall 2016 Arts & Crafts Fair plus Quilt Show

Save the Date: Ryderwood’s “Christmas in October” (+ Halloween & Thanksgiving) Arts & Crafts Fair / Quilt Show will be the weekend of October 21st and 22nd. Community Hall (305 Morse St.) will host Vendors in its two large rooms plus “Grandma’s Kitchen” Bake Sale. Lunch will be served by the Town’s Veterans (there are both VFW and AMVETS Posts) at the Café from 11-2. The Quilt Show will be up the street in Pioneer Hall (201 Morse St.). Ryderwood’s historic “Signature” quilts from the 1930’s will be on display as well as many others. Those interested in showing quilts should contact Patty at (360) 430-5211. The cost for Craft Fair vendors is $30 for both days. Spaces are 6 ft.-by-6 ft. with tables included. Applications can be printed off of the “What’s Happening?” page of ryderwood.org or contact Linda at (360) 295-0069. Ryderwood has been a “planned community for retired persons” since 1953.
