This November 11 marks the 90th anniversary of the Centralia Tragedy, in which 5 lives were lost and many others disastrously affected. What is the legacy of the events of 1919 for us in Lewis County today? This talk will give an overview of causes, effects, and enduring impact, and will attempt to place the events in the then-contemporary national context.
