Wear Purple in Honor of a Cancer Survivor

This Wed. January 8th, Relay for Life of Lewis County is requesting Everyone wear PURPLE in honor of a Cancer Survivor!! The 2014 has begun and the American Cancer Society is still bringing HOPE to Lewis County! Whether you are a survivor or a supporter, everyone has been touched by cancer. Relay for Life of Lewis County is actively raising funds to help finish the fight. We are asking the businesses of Lewis County to help us keep hope alive, and encourage your staff to wear purple in honor of a cancer survivor! As a chamber member in our community, you have the opportunity to make a difference and become a corporate or team sponsor. There are a variety of fundraising events that could be held at your place of business. For example, if your staff wears uniforms or professional attire, have a $5 Friday, jeans day and we will provide a sign for you to post that says ?Please excuse our casualness, our staff has donated money to Relay for Life of Lewis County for the opportunity to dress down today?. If you have a restaurant, we can provide you with fun and informative placemats, as well as, purple collection envelopes for donations and donation containers are always available. The fundraising options are vast and vary, I would be happy to discuss new and unique fundraising ideas that will work at your place of business. Get informed and Get involved! All Team and Participant Meeting Wed Jan 8th, 6pm @ Holiday Inn Express. Anyone interested in joining a team, starting a team or would like to get involved in helping in any way, is encouraged to attend. Are you unable to make it to the meeting this month? Future meeting are held at 6pm the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Holiday Inn Express.
